Dr. Kathy’s journey in veterinary medicine began after she graduated from tech school in 1998. She later explored a career as a paramedic before deciding to return to her true passion—animals. She graduated from OVC as a doctor of veterinary medicine in 2013 and quickly became a vital part of the Ashbridges Bay Animal Hospital team in 2017, later merging with Kew Beach in May 2021.
Certified in Fear Free medicine, Kathy is passionate about ensuring a calm and positive experience for all pets. Her areas of interest include dermatology, behavior, senior care, and she has a special fondness for pocket pets.
At home, Kathy is surrounded by her many beloved pets: two dogs, Koda and Kyna; five cats, Kevin, Ruby, Gregory, Honey, and Brutus; and three rabbits, Lenny, Juliet, and Sassy. Kathy’s wealth of knowledge and compassionate care make her a valued member of our team!
