Since joining Ashbridges Bay Animal Hospital in February 2021 with Dr. Kathy, and merging with Kew Beach in May 2021, Mel has become an integral part of our team. A proud Sheridan College graduate of the Class of 2020, she quickly demonstrated her expertise and dedication to animal care. By September 2022, Mel earned the role of Head Technician, where she leads with compassion and skill. She has an interest for surgery, particularly dental procedures.
Outside of the clinic, Mel was a proud pet parent to Shiraz, the clinic cat from Ashbridges Bay Animal Hospital and now to her two beloved rescue cats, Tortellini and Alfredo. In their downtime, she enjoys swimming and getting creative with various crafts. Mel brings a wonderful combination of professionalism, skill and quirkiness to every task she takes on.
