Carley, more commonly known as ‘Auntie Carley’ to all the critters that visit Kortright Animal Hospital is our senior Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from the University of Guelph with her BSc and started working in research. She then went on to graduate from Ridgetown College top of her class in Veterinary Technology. Carley came to Kortright Animal Hospital in 2009 joining a family who gives 110% to everyone that comes through the doors.
Her passion for excellent preventive medicine allows her to help guide pet parents through the overwhelming options of pet nutrition so every pet can live their healthiest and best lives. Carley’s calm, reassuring and caring personality aids in her ability to help pets that have more anxiety when they come to the vet. Reducing every pet’s fears and helping them receive the best care is so important to Carley.
When she isn’t Auntie Carley, you can find her always on the go with her 6-year-old Cattle dog Jenny and her 2-year-old blind mix breed dog Stevie hiking, camping, kayaking or just enjoying the great outdoors. Carley also keeps herself busy training competitively for triathlons and is honored and excited to represent Canada at the next world championships.
