Vinny Boyaninsky, Veterinarian

DVM

Dr. Vinny Boyaninsky earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1990 from Trakia University in Bulgaria. He has been practicing in Ontario since May of 2000, following his licensing by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario after passing his medical and surgical board examinations.

Dr. Boyaninsky or “Dr. Vinny” as he is called by staff and clients alike, was born in Bulgaria and practiced Veterinary medicine there for three and one-half years. He then moved to the United States where he lived for two and one-half years before moving to Canada in 1996. Dr. Boyaninsky is fluent in three languages; English, Bulgarian and Russian. He regularly attends continuing education meetings to keep up to date on the most current advances in Veterinary medicine and most recently spent several days at the Animal Dental training centre in Maryland for advanced dentistry. His special interests include small animal surgery and endoscopy.

On a personal note, Dr. Boyaninsky lives in Mississauga with his wife and two daughters. Their family is made complete by their house cat Misho who is a Norwegian Forest cat. He loves to spend his personal time travelling and gardening as well as playing tennis and volleyball. Dr. Vinny decided to pursue Veterinary medicine at the age of 14, stemming from his love of animals and desire to relieve their suffering. Dr. Vinny gets a great deal of satisfaction from making a difference every day in the lives of both his patients and their owners.
