Tina Chiu

Dr Tina Chiu was born in Taiwan and immigrated to Canada at the age of 6. She graduated from St George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, then practiced in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for 3 years prior to moving back home to Toronto to be closer to family. Tina loves being a veterinarian as it is challenging and rewarding; there is always something new to learn as it is an everchanging field that is bettering the lives of our beloved furry family members and improving accessibility to the pet owners.

Tina is the proud dog mom to a lazy Great Pyrenees and a reactive Shepherd/Husky/Rottweiler/Malamute mix. Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, reading, fostering cats with local shelters and volunteering at community spay/neuter clinics. Tina can speak English, conversational Mandarin and if she really practices, can also understand/speak some Taiwanese Hokkien/Taigi!
