Originally from Seattle, Washington, Dr Souder grew up in a home full of cats, dogs, guinea pigs and hamsters. She also spent many summer weekends riding and showing horses, and she even built homemade jumping courses for her Corgi, Buttons. She knew from a very young age that caring for animals was one of her greatest passions and pursuing veterinary medicine was the right career for her.
When she is not working you can find her hanging out outdoors with her husband and daughter, riding horses, skiing, reading, travelling and snuggling with her 4 cats.
Her special interests in veterinary medicine include soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, geriatric care and fostering the human-animal bond.
