Chelsie is a 2004 graduate of the AHT program at NAIT. She has worked in both small animal emergency and general practice throughout her career. Chelsie has been a part of the Mayfield team since 2011, her true passions within the field are anesthesia, dermatology and animal behavior. She recently received her Fear Free veterinary certification and is looking forward to help making visits to the hospital a positive and happy experience for every animal that comes through the door.
When not at work she is busy at home with her 2 girls (Avery & Ryan) and her husband (Matt). She has 2 cats, one was rescued during her time working emergency, he is a special cat named Stewie (he has 5 legs and no sternum), her other cat is a Devon rex/sphynx named Bernard. She recently got a new Standard Poodle puppy named Mortimer.
