Gurmukh Thandi, Veterinarian
Dr. Gurmukh Paul Singh Thandi grew up in Surrey, he knew from a very young age that he had an affinity for animals, and it became his goal to work with them in some capacity.
He started his veterinary career as a kennel attendant in 2010 and knew immediately this was the career he wanted. Upon graduation from high school Dr. Thandi pursued his dream and went to vet school.
In 2020 Dr. Thandi achieved his goal when graduated from vet school and started practicing veterinary medicine in New Westminster and came to VCA Newton Animal Hospital in January of 2022.
When he is not caring for other people’s fur babies Dr. Thandi is with his 11yr old Pitbull Nicki and new addition Pitbull named Simba.
Dr. Thandi maintains his work/life balance by watching or playing basketball, as well as going to the gym.
