Dr Mackie graduated from the WCVM and spent her first three years as a veterinarian working at the Calgary Humane Society. After that, she joined the team at Riverbend. She left the practice in 2013 when her child was born, but rejoined the team in 2016 and has been there ever since. Dr Mackie enjoys the surgical experience she gains from working at Riverbend. Dr Mackie is a true Calgarian-born and raised.
As a hard core cat lover, sadly she has to get her “kitty fix” at work due to allergies in the family.
When not at work, Dr Mackie enjoys competing in the sport of triathlon and spending time in the mountains.
