While Carina is a new graduate from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine class of 2021, she has more than 10 years’ experience in the veterinary field. Carina worked as a receptionist while obtaining her Veterinary Technology diploma from the University of Guelph in 2011. After working for several years in Edmonton as a Registered Veterinary Technician, Carina decided to advance her career and went back to school.
One of the things Carina loves most about the veterinary field is the variety of medicine she gets to practice; although, she takes special interest in emergency medicine, dentistry, dermatology, and internal medicine.
Carina and her French bulldog, Cedric, love warm weather and are excited to move to the Okanagan. Together, they enjoy hiking and picnics in the park. Carina also loves yoga, beach volleyball, and board games.
