Deena Larsen, Emergency

Deena grew up on a hobby farm outside of Port Perry ON surrounded by a variety of animals. She graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before completing her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from Massey University in New Zealand. Following that, Deena worked a short term position at a small animal general practice in Melbourne, Australia. She then qualified for a Small Animal Internship position at the Ontario Veterinary College and returned home to Canada. In 2014, Deena started working at the 404 VERH as an ER veterinarian and has enjoyed being a part of the 404 team ever since.

Deena lives in Uxbridge with her husband David, daughter Hazel, Husky mix Georgie and their cat Turbo. When not at the 404, Deena loves spending time with her family outdoors downhill skiing, cross country skiing, running, hiking and waterskiing.
