Sera T., Technician Assistant
Sera went to school for VOA (Veterinary Office assistant) in 2020, she has always had a love for animals and for the medical field. Sera’s family used to be farmers as her grandparents owned a pig farm in Bellevue and so her and her brothers would help out on the farm often. Sera joined the VCA family in November of 2021 as a Technician assistant and has been loving the more hands-on role she has with helping not only the technicians but also the veterinarians and reception.
Sera has a soft spot for the big breed dogs as she used to have a Saint Bernard named Maxx who sadly passed at age 6 to cancer, but now has 4 cats who keep the family on their toes. Robin (DSH Black kitty) who has severe anxiety and only trusts Sera to hold her and sleep around, Charlotte (Chocolate point Siamese) who suffers from PICA, Clementine (DSH white and Grey) who has one eye and no ears, and lastly Dexstarr (DSH black kitty) who was abandoned with her 6 siblings in April 2024 and suffers from PICA.
Sera is trained in small animal nutrition, Fear Free certified, Basic lifesaving and CPR for both animals and humans, as well as is Trupanion certified.
