Dr. Ibijuwon Olatayo

Dr Ibijuwon Olatayo was born and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria. She relocated to Canada in 2015. Ibijuwon graduated from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Ibijuwon joined the VCA family in 2021 as she continued her academic pursuit in Canada to obtain a Certificate of Qualification as a Veterinarian in North America.

Dr Ibijuwon Olatayo’s interests in general practice include soft tissue surgery, canine and feline internal medicine, public health, preventive medicine, dentistry, nutrition, ultrasound and client education. She is working on expanding her knowledge in exotics, advanced diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine and critical care.

While not working, Ibijuwon loves yoga, needle work, languages, music, reading, cooking and tending to her plants. She enjoys family time with her husband, son and her gray tabby cat-Chester.
