Dr. Safira Teja obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Calgary. She obtained a bachelors degree in Public Affairs from Carleton University in Ottawa.

In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors including camping, hiking and going for walks with her dog Mowgli (pictured above).
