What to do if you find injured or abandoned wildlife

If you come across injured wildlife, please call the BC SPCA Provincial Call Centre at 1-855-622-7722 to help assess the situation before attempting to contain or transport the animal. 

Please drop off the animal to either:

Hours: May to August: Monday to Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (note: animal intakes are possible up to 6:30 p.m.)
September to April: Monday to Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital is available for the humane euthanasia of critically ill or injured wildlife.
