Dr. Duke graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London University, UK, worked as a small animal practitioner for a few years and completed an anesthesia residency at Liverpool University, UK before emigrating to Canada.

Dr. Duke has recently relocated to Vancouver Island after working at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine as Professor of Veterinary Anesthesiology for 33 years. There she was involved in teaching veterinary students and technicians and providing anesthesia services for small, large, and exotic animals.

Dr. Duke has a Golden retriever (Remi) and enjoys exploring new walks on the Island.
