Dr. Ashley grew up in beautiful British Columbia and moved to Alberta in 2009. Growing up she was always around animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, and other exotic pocket pets! This sparked her love of animals and ultimately what drove her to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Ashley graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2023 and joined us in June of 2024 as part of the 6 month VCA Academy Program to ensure new graduates get the training and support they need in that first year out of school. So far, her favorite part of the job is the endless variety of what she sees in a day. No day is like the last and this helps continue her growth and learning.
Outside of work, Dr, Ashley likes to get out in nature and hike or play paintball. She also enjoys playing video games and painting to unwind. Her two cats, Bob Ross and Eevee, help keep her company at home as well.
