After nearly a decade of immersing herself in the field of Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation, Dr. Behnam completed an Honors Bachelor's degree in Applied Animal Biology at UBC before attending the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.
Dr. Behnam is of Persian descent but was born and raised in Germany and immigrated to Vancouver, Canada with her family at the age of eleven.
Dr. Behnam enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a keen interest in preventative, emergency and wildlife medicine.
When she is not adventuring with her family, Dr Behnam likes to spend her time giving back to her community through veterinary outreach programs or fostering with local rescues.
Dr. Behnam is Fear Free certified.
