Transfusion medicine is frequently used in the veterinary industry and our program was established in 2010 to help supply the growing need for blood products. This invaluable services helps save lives and we are always looking for additional canine donors to join the team!

Canine blood donors can donate every 3 months once entered into the program. Each visit is made to ensure a happy stress free time which includes lots of treats, cuddles and a goody bag for your pup! The health of our donors is monitored through the program with routine complimentary annual lab work and heartworm/tick testing at each donation. A donation appointment is approximately 45minutes but the actual collection process only takes 5 minutes with the donor laying on their side.
