Dr. Jessica Lam grew up mainly in Vancouver (born in Hong Kong) and graduated from Oregon State University in 2012. She started her veterinary journey in Grenada and has also lived in Guelph and Toronto after graduation. She moved back to Vancouver in 2015 as she missed the mountains and the great outdoors. She now lives in North Vancouver with her husband, orange tabby (Miso) and Morkie (Mochi).
Her professional interests include surgery, preventative and geriatric medicine. Dr. Lam has been with North Shore Animal Hospital since 2020 and she believes in working closely with pet owners to keep their dogs and cats at their healthiest.
In her free time, she can be found snowboarding, playing tennis and scuba diving. She also speaks fluent Cantonese and can understand basic Mandarin.
