Dr. Negin Erfani is a compassionate small animal veterinarian who completed her veterinary degree in 2015 and has been devoted to supporting pets and their families through every stage of life ever since. She moved to Canada in 2022 and obtained her Canadian veterinary license in 2024, after which she has been practicing in clinical settings with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
After earning her Canadian credentials, Dr. Erfani joined VCA in 2024 and gained valuable experience in emergency medicine before recently becoming part of the Riverbend Animal Hospital team. She has a special interest in surgery and point-of-care ultrasound. She is committed to using these tools both in urgent situations and as part of a thoughtful, preventative care plan tailored to each patient.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Erfani enjoys making the most of the Canadian outdoors, whether she is snowboarding or hiking in the mountains. At home, she loves relaxing with her husband and their adorable boy cat, Gerdoo, often curled up together watching animal documentaries.
