Dr. Bruaset is currently on leave.

Dr. Tina Bruaset’s scope of practice includes holistic/functional medicine and emergency/critical care.

Dr. Bruaset’s special interests in practice include the urinary tract system, allergies, gastrointestinal function and palliative care.

Dr. Bruaset joined Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital in 2015. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2007, and went on to complete a specialty Surgery and Medicine Internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI. She returned to the West Coast and practiced emergency and family medicine on Vancouver Island, until returning home to join the emergency/critical care service at a local referral hospital. She practiced there for three years, and worked with a wide range of specialists including, neurologists, surgeons, internists and radiologists.

Her unique range of experience in family, emergency and specialty practice allows her to offer a range of options for her patients, to develop a customized integrative health plan. Her goal is to anticipate potential health issues and work closely with owners on preventative measures.

She recognizes our pets as integral parts of the family. Her practice philosophy is to treat every patient as she would her own: to ensure that you are given the same scope of options she would consider for her own pet, and then work with you to develop a plan that works best for you & your pet’s needs.

Dr. Bruaset loves the integrative approach at Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital and looks forward to working with you and your beloved companion.
