Kennedy has a barrel horse named Doubles who she competes on competitively in the summer months all over the province. While travelling from rodeo to rodeo you will often see her two miniature dachshunds Timber and Lewis as passengers.

Kennedy graduated from the Animal Health Technology program in 2014 from Lakeland College. Since then, Kennedy has found her passion working in emergency hospitals and is very grateful to work at Western with some very amazing people.
