Dr. Romany Pinto earned her DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) in 2006. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (2022) and holds certifications in veterinary acupuncture (CVA) and canine rehabilitation (CCRP). With a special focus on injury prevention and treatment for working and sporting dogs, Dr. Pinto has collaborated extensively with dog sports groups on warm-up and conditioning strategies. She also has a keen interest in feline rehabilitation and acupuncture. In addition to her role at VCA Western Veterinary Specialists, Dr. Pinto is a Clinical Associate in Rehabilitation and Acupuncture at WCVM in Saskatoon.
