Paige Guindon, Veterinarian
Dr. Paige Guindon was born and raised in Calgary and grew up enjoying everything the mountains had to offer. Her love for animals comes from the plethora of pets she grew up with; from tarantulas to ducks and everything in between. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at Queen’s University, she worked as a Canine Hydrotherapist and Veterinary Technician Assistant for five years. It was during this time she re-cultivated her dream of becoming a Veterinarian. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis and completed her clinical year at Oregon State University. After graduating, Dr. Guindon returned to Calgary to start her career as a Small Animal General Practitioner. Dr. Guindon enjoys all things cats and dogs but has special interest in palliative care, wound management, and surgery.
When not completely absorbed by her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her daughter, and their 4 rescue animals. Her fur family currently consists of one large mixed-breed dog (Gunther) and 3 domestic short-haired cats (Prim Rose, Hamlet, and Mike Tyson).
