Dr. O'Brien is a small animal veterinarian who joined the Island team in 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. O'Brien is Fear-Free Certified and takes every effort to reduce fear and anxiety of her patients during their veterinary visits. She values the bond between animals and their families, and strives to provide compassionate, high standard of medicine for every furry patient she works with. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending her free time hiking, camping and travelling. She shares a home with her soon-to-be husband, a goofy golden retriever named Oakley, and her foster-fail cat named Aspen.
