Dr. Young is a small animal veterinarian who joined the Island team in 2025. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Having practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian in Australia, Dr. Young decided to experience life in Canada, choosing the Island as her new home. She has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, and getting to know everyone's beloved furry friends.
Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending her free time camping, hiking, and tending to her sourdough starter.
