Medical Director
Dr. Jeremy Nix began his career teaching high school history before deciding to pursue his long-standing interest in working with animals. He went on to earn his DVM from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and began practicing small animal medicine in Florida. In January 2026, he and his family relocated to the North Shore, where things finally felt like the right fit.
He spends his time with his wife, two young children, and a questionably behaved papillon mix. Outside of work, his hobbies include attempting to enforce bedtimes and occasionally reminiscing about the free time he used to have for hobbies.
Jeremy’s clinical interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, and anesthesia. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is the moment when a complicated case suddenly makes sense and a clear path forward appears. His second favourite part is the puppies!
