After completing her veterinary studies in Scotland, Tanja has happily made Canada her home. She began her career in equine practice but soon realized her passion lay with smaller companion animals. While a few dog breeds might rival the size of a pony, she has no regrets about the switch.
"I love the variety in my work—the wide range of pets and the wonderful people I meet," she says. "Having the chance to make a positive difference every day is incredibly rewarding. I truly can't imagine doing anything else."
