Jessica’s love for animals started in Kindergarten when she had the opportunity to adopt her class pet hamster, “Hammy”. Throughout her childhood, she has had several pocket pets and in high school she got her first family dog. With her love for animals, she directed her interests towards Animal Biology and graduated from Seneca College King Campus in Ontario and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2010. She moved to Edmonton with her husband in 2012 to further her career as an RVT. After several years in practice, Jessica joined the Riverbend team in 2022 and she loves the support and encouragement that her colleagues provide. She continues to learn new skills with special interests in veterinary dentistry to care for her pet patients. Her hobbies include biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. She also has 2 young children, a cat and border collie cross pup that keep her active and busy all week long.
