Dr. Chloé Jackson knew she wanted to be an animal doctor since a child, after growing up around dogs, cats, and a rabbit. She pursued horse riding which further spurred her desire for creatures both big and small. This led her to complete her veterinary degree at the University of Calgary. Following graduation in 2023, she completed a small animal rotating internship at the CARE facility until 2024. This program gave her valuable experience working in an emergency and specialty practice. Loving client relationships, she decided to transition into general practice, and move to Victoria to explore all the island has to offer. Chloé loves a complex case, and had once considered an internal medicine residency!
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner, going outdoors on hiking adventures, paddle boarding, bouldering/climbing, and camping. She also enjoys photography, and dabbling in arts/crafts. Chloé’s family consists of two adorable cats - Jinx and Fenrir. She is only allowed 2 to avoid crazy cat lady status, but hopes to have more pets in the future.
