Dr. Harmonie Standen's interest in veterinary medicine began in Hamilton, Ontario while working at a veterinary clinic during a high school co-op. Having grown up with a variety of animals at home and having the experience of working in a veterinary clinic, she pursued her undergraduate degree in animal biology from the University of Guelph. After completing her degree in 2018, she was accepted into the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Harmonie graduated in spring 2022 and moved to Victoria with her partner who is also a veterinarian (otherwise who would be excited to hear about lancing an abscess at the dinner table).
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Harmonie's interests include dabbling in hiking, paddle boarding, embroidery, crochet and sewing.
