Dr. Courtney Cameron grew up in North Saanich and was constantly surrounded by animals. After receiving her Bachelor's from the University of Victoria, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. At the time of graduation from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Cameron was the recipient of the Faculty Gold Medal - the college’s most prestigious award given to the graduating student most successful at demonstrating the science and art of veterinary medicine throughout the entire four-year degree.
Dr. Cameron has worked up island as a small animal veterinarian for a number of years and feels very fortunate to now be back home with her friends and family. Outside of work, you can find Courtney spending time outdoors, sailing with her family, and riding her horses.
