Originally from Italy, Anita graduated from the Veterinary University of Milan in 2016. After working with both small and large animals for one year, she decided to move to Canada, where she obtained the Veterinary Technician diploma from the Northern Institute of Technology in Alberta in 2020.

Having a keen interest in emergency medicine, she moved to Vancouver in 2020, when she joined the VAERC team. During her free time she likes to hike, cook and play beach volley in the summer.
