My name is Leticia, and I was born in a small town close to the city of São Paulo. I have been a veterinarian for 11 years in which I dedicated most of it to general practice with a dear friend. After my graduation, I started my Masters in Animal Science, and at the end of it, I was invited to do a sanitary assessment for milk farms in Russia. My first contact with Canada was in 2006 when I spent 6 months being an ESL student and volunteered in an Animal Hospital in Toronto. I lived in Bolivia for almost two years due to my husband's work. It was a great experience to know a different culture and travel along breathtaking scenic routes. In the meantime, we had our daughter, who is a toddler now. After months of planning, we are back in Canada, and I am thrilled and excited to be apart of the VCA team as a Technician in our busy Emergency Service.

I love going to the movies, chasing waterfalls, stroller around with my daughter and my English Bulldog and eating good pasta!
