Irene was born and raised in the beautiful countryside of Ireland where her two dogs Poppy and Nell currently reside. She graduated from UCD in Ireland and worked as a veterinary nurse in a mixed practice for one year before moving to Vancouver in 2017. Her passion is working with the older animals that come through the door at VAERC, providing them with comfort and care in their golden years. On rainy days she can be found curled up with a good book and a cup of Irish tea.
