After graduating from UBC with a degree in Biology, Anna was not sure what she wanted to do with her career. Fortunately, she stumbled upon an opportunity to work as a veterinary receptionist. She really enjoyed the veterinary clinic atmosphere, so she worked her way up to become a veterinary assistant and was inspired to keep learning. Anna travelled to Olds College in Alberta to receive her technical training to become an Registered Veterinary Technician. Anna joined the ophthalmology department at VAERC shortly after graduating and passing her VTNE in the Spring of 2022 and hasn't looked back since. When she is not working, she is streaming video games on Twitch or spends time with her maltipoo, Mocha.
