Dr. Elissa Steinbock obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences from McMaster University in 2011, and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (with Honours) in 2015. Upon completion of her veterinary degree, Dr. Steinbock completed a 1 year rotating internship in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Steinbock loves the variety and intensity of emergency medicine!
Dr. Steinbock grew up with a passion for animals, especially dogs, and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She began showing and training dogs at a young age. Originally growing up with Terriers (and after the dog trainer advised her parents to get her a more obedient dog!), Dr. Steinbock now shows, breeds and spoils her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.
Dr. Steinbock lives just outside of London with her husband, who is also a veterinarian, their son, and their two Tollers - Forbes and Rider.
