Dr. Johanna Johnston earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2013. She developed an interest in emergency medicine during veterinary school, and was excited to join the ER team at London Regional right after graduation. Dr. Johnston enjoys the fast pace and variability of emergency work, and works primarily overnight shifts, providing care to incoming emergency cases as well as caring for hospitalized patients.
Dr. Johnston's professional interests include critical care and endocrine cases. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Johnston enjoys life on her hobby farm, where she and her family care for their cats, chickens, sheep, and llama.
