Alex was born and raised in Edmonton Alberta, where she spent four years at the University of Alberta studying towards her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Health. Alex moved to Calgary with her spouse after being accepted into the University of Calgary Veterinary Medicine Program. Alex is excited to start her journey at VCA Western and has an interest in emergency medicine and surgery.

Outside of work, Alex loves to spend time with her family, friends and her cat Bruce. She also enjoys playing board and card games, recreational volleyball, and crocheting.
