Megan was born and raised in Calgary. She studied Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary before completing her DVM degree at the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM). She values all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a keen interest in emergency and critical care.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys hiking, camping, playing team sports, and travelling. She also loves to spend time with her family, friends, fiancé, and two rescue dogs, Juno and Ellie.
