Dr. Jessica Belyk grew up outside of Edmonton, Alberta. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alberta before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with the University of Calgary. From there she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery in New York City. Dr. Belyk was drawn back out West, and she worked in emergency medicine in Vancouver, BC, prior to moving back to Calgary. She has special interests in emergency medicine, pain management, and has additional training and certifications in veterinary acupuncture. When not at work, you can find her outside, running, hiking, camping, and spending time with her dogs, family, and friends.
