Dr. Alexandra Soengkono grew up in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. She graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2015. She attended the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island to pursue her veterinary degree and fulfill her dream of caring for animals in need. She has many professional interests including emergency medicine, critical care and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Soengkono completed her internship at WVSEC and stayed on as an emergency veterinarian following her training.
Dr. Soengkono has an Australian Shepherd named Holland, two cats named Milo and Zuzu, as well as the boss of the house, her bunny Scooter! In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, yoga, traveling and good food
