Erin was born in Calgary, though grew up and went to school in Saskatchewan. She completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Regina before being accepted to the veterinary program. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017,and completed a Critical Care specialty internship the following year at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas. After moving back to Canada, Erin worked as an emergency practitioner in Vancouver for several years, before moving to Calgary to start her residency in Emergency and Critical Care. Outside of work, Erin enjoys snowboarding, playing competitive soccer, and spending time with her pets.
