Born and raised in New Zealand, Emily obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Science with distinction from Massey University in 2020. Following graduation, she completed a rotating small animal internship at a private practice in New Zealand before making the move to Canada. Set on pursuing specialization in small animal surgery, Emily has since completed a surgical internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI, and is now the surgical intern at the Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys playing tennis, traveling and getting up to the mountains for hiking and skiing.
