Dr. Danica Watson was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She is a proud prairie girl but is thrilled to live in beautiful BC. She graduated from the University of Regina with a bachelor's degree in business administration, but her love of animals led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, graduating in 2018, and received the Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Award. After working at a small animal general practice in the lower mainland for 4 years, Danica joined Yaletown Animal Hospital in 2022. Her current veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery and dermatology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, reading, Pilates, and traveling.
