Dr. John Shin graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2013. He has had the opportunity to work and practice veterinary medicine in a variety of locations including Miami, Florida and Oxford, Mississippi as well as various clinics in Southern Ontario.
Dr. Shin has a passion for travel and has had the opportunity to have volunteered at an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Rai, Thailand and at a cat and dog rescue in Koh Samui, Thailand. He is happy to have settled down close to his family in Toronto and has been working at VCA Don Mills Animal Hospital since 2020.
Dr. Shin is fortunate to share his home with his loving wife, and dynamic daughter. He is also lucky to have his three fur children, Freyja (a Mississippi rescue dog), Tuna (a rescued 3-legged cat), and Shenzi (his extra special rescue cat with brain damage).
