Shefali Lemaire, Veterinarian

DVM

Shefali was born and raised in India. She completed a BSc in marine science and biology at the University of Miami and worked for several years in a molecular genetics and pathology lab studying a sea turtle virus at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She then headed to veterinary school at St George's University, completing her final year of vet school at the University of Edinburgh. She graduated in 2012 and worked in general practice in France and northern Alberta until joining the Guardian Veterinary Centre as an emergency doctor.

Shefali loves travelling, the outdoors, Mexican food and spending time with her two dogs Bean and Queso, and two cats Guacamole and Pico.
