Dr. Bouck graduated from the University of Guelph in 1991. In 1992, he completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in Connecticut. He then returned to Guelph for a Residency in Small Animal Surgery which he completed along with his graduate degree (Doctor of Veterinary Science) in 1995. During his graduate studies, Dr. Bouck pursued research in canine elbow conditions. In 1996, he became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) and established the veterinary surgery referral practice in London. Dr. Bouck has special interest in orthopedic surgery including fracture repair and joint procedures.
Personally, Dr. Bouck has led a busy family life with his wife and two daughters, and they currently share their home with their dog Karma. In his free time Dr. Bouck enjoys sea kayaking, paddleboarding, cycling, snowboarding, and outdoor photography.
