Dr. Glenn Lane graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2012 and completed a rotating internship in Los Angeles, California in 2013. He then practiced as an emergency veterinarian in Alberta for three years before moving to Boston, Massachusetts to complete a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at Angell Animal Medical Center. He achieved board certification with the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2019.
After residency, he worked as a critical care specialist at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC before moving back to Canada in 2021. He worked at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic downtown before joining the Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital team in 2023. His professional interests include shock resuscitation, point of care ultrasound, coagulation, transfusion medicine, and mechanical ventilation. Dr. Lane lives in Toronto with his wife and their three cats.
